Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has commiserated with the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje over his mother’s passing.
Governor Okorocha made his condolence remarkes through his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere who visited Governor Ganduje in Kano State Government House.
Condoling the number one citizen of Kano State, he urged Governor him to take solace in God, who knows the beginning and the end of man, saying however pained one may feel, God alone knows best.
He described late Mrs. Ganduje as a great woman who impacted her community positively. His words; “Your mother left an indelible mark when she was alive. I learnt of her leadership qualities even at the community level. Today, her great role as a good mother with vision has produced Governor Ganduje”.
Prince Madumere who came in company of Dr. Hilary Eke, the State Chairman of APC, Imo State also admonished the people to lead a good life, with which they will be remembered for after they would have gone.
In his response, Governor Ganduje thanked Governor Okorocha for his visit and his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere his friend for coming.
He described Governor Okorocha as a great leader whose legacies in education will forever remain green in the history of Nigeria especially his free education to the down trodden.
He wished Prince Madumere and his entourage safe journey back to Imo State.
