Submission for the third and 2016 edition of E-Celeb Awards has kicked off today May 2, 2016 according to a release signed by the CEO of the awards, Mr. Stanley Akalonu aka Esure.
According to the release, there will be nine award categories for this edition and artistes, managers and fans who find any work fit for the awards are urged send them in to esurehot@gmail.com.
With the addition of categories for gospel artistes, dancers, Djs and other genres of music, the award is promised to be another industry changing platform that will kick off a brand new revolution in the entertainment industry especially in the South-East.
“There will always be a reason for everything, and we are giving entertainers a reason to do more for themselves and the industry. Genuine awards change mindsets and we are working towards that” Esure said.
The listed categories are:
1. Artiste/Song of the Year
2. Producer of the Year
3. R&B/ Vocal Artiste of the Year
4. Gospel Artiste of the Year
5. Hip-Hop/Rap Artiste of the Year
6. Best Collaboration of the Year
7. Disc Jockey of the Year
8. Comedian of the Year
9. Dancer of the Year
The release also disclose that there will also be other special recognitions for individuals and groups who have been outstand in the industry for the same period of time which is between 2015 and 2016.
For categories like dancers, links to their dance videos are to be sent to the email address with their details, while comedians are to send in send in a five minutes joke on the maximum.
DJ are to send in a maximum of 30 minutes mix, while other achievements of entrants will also be put into consideration in making up the nominee list.
