A non-governmental organization, The Reformers Initiative Group will on Friday May 20, 2016, mark her 5th Anniversary with a luncheon that is expected to host who is who in Imo State.

The event billed for De-Range Hotels, Umuguma, Owerri, Imo State, will have the Senator representing Owerri Federal Constituency, Senator Samuel Anyanwu [Samdaddy] deliver a keynote address on the theme: The Nation’s Tripod and her image making, while a lecture series on ‘The imperative of diversifying to Agriculture in this dwindling economy’ will be delivered by a former Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof B.E.B Nwoke.

International tax administrator, Mr. Ken Ojiri will be delivering a lecture on ‘Entrepreneurship as a panacea to youth unemployment and restiveness in the society, while the immediate past Secretary to the State Government, Imo State, Sir Jude Ejiogu; MD, Petro-Dynamics Drillog, Dr. Ugo Ralph Ekezie are amongst the guest expected at the event.

Other guests expected at the event are Senator Ben Murray Bruce, Chairman/Chief   Executive Silver Bird Group; Hon. Ezenwa Onyewuchi; Deacon Chike Okafor; Chief Pascal Okorie, MD Palm Petroleum Limited; Dr. Mma Olebara; Deacon Donald Igbo, Dr. Mrs Cele Njoku, Rector Federal Polytechnic Nekede amongst others.

Convener and Director of The Reformers Initiative Group, Prince Joseph Nwosu-Okorie said the event is aimed at the re-awakening of consciousness of youths towards the Nigerian Project and the need to take up the mantle of leadership anywhere.

He added that the event will afford youths the opportunity of knowing the benefits of being a good follower as well as what to do in the face of economic downturn in the nation and Imo State in particular.

Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Imo State Chapter, Bishop Stafford Nworgu; President Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Imo State Chapter, Bishop Maxwell Korie; Chief Osita Nwaneri; Chief Christian Anukam, Interim President, Owerri Community Assembly; and Mr. Okechukwu Onyegbula, popularly known as Okey Bakassi and a veteran Nollywood Actor will also be in attendance.

Royal fathers like HRM Eze (Dr.) EmmaOkeke, HRH Eze Sampson Okwudimma, Eze-Elect Samuel Ugho (Ubakason Plaza) among others will be attending with about 20 youths who are to be sponsored from their communities and Prince Nwosu-Okorie called on all to attend the programme for a better society, saying “knowledge is power and no knowledge is a waste”.
