Amidst tears rapper Dawn Tawn was laid to rest on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home town Obodoukwu Autonomous Community, Ideator North Local Government Area of Imo State.
The event which was well attended by artistes, friends and family members of the rapper who all appeared on black to pay the rapper their last respect, attracted several comments as many as still asking for the real cause of his death and what will become of his legacy.
Dawn Tawn so far, has an unreleased album which has been compiled under his Net Boi Gang group. The release of the album which was tagged ‘Recognized But Not Famous Yet’ was called off last year by the rapper who met his untimely death in January 2016.
The big question now is, what will become of the album? Will it die with Dawn Tawn?
If the album has potentials, it is important that his friends and close allies especially members of the NET BOI GANG rally round and see that the album is released with the proceeds going to his family. Maybe they never reaped much from his musical career, but they can still reap from it now.
