Some unsigned artistes in the South-East region of Nigeria could be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when record labels and stake holders of the Nigeria music industry from across the country will be attending the first Imo Artistes Conference hoping to shop for fresh talents.

The event which will be taking place on Saturday April 29, 2017 at Imo International Convention Center Owerri, Imo State, will have the likes of afropop legend Tuface Idibia, Mr. Atiba of Imperial Music and  GospelOnTheBeatz as speakers owing to their wealth of experience in the industry.

Tagged ‘Entertainment is the new oil’ the conference is jointly convened by Uriel Nwadiaro of the Grey Lines Company and the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment and Public Affairs to Governor of Imo State.

According to Mr. Uriel Nwadiaro, the speakers will encourage the young folks and give nuggets based on their experiences. “Their legendary status with repertoire lining in countless successful protégés, make them golden inspiring sights to behold at the conference”

For a ticket of Two Thousand Naira only [N2000], artistes stand the chance of dazzling in front of old and new record labels as well as other stake holders in the industry who will be at the conference scouting for fresh talents and those who catch the eyes of the eyes of these potential investors could be signed or sponsored through their musical career.

Audition for performances at the conference will hold on April 25th and 26th, 2017 at Bongo Center, Owerri, Imo State beginning by 3:00pm each of the days with a Two Thousand Naira [N2000] ticket admitting interested participant, while those who made it through the audition will be given time to perform after the conference which will be featuring speeches, question and answer sessions.  Tickets are on sale at House of Freeda, Grand Cubana, Bongo Center, Rock View Hotels and Zanders FM.
