Hon. Chukwunonye Irouno has revealed that Bayelsa state born star Timaya will be in Owerri for Democracy Day concert tagged Imo Music Talent Bonanza, where lots of artistes will also be empowered by the state government.
Hon. Irouno who is the Senior Special Assistant to Imo State Governor on Entertainment and Public Affairs, said the event will continue from where it stopped at the Imo Artistes Conference and the auditioned hip-hop artistes will be performing alongside Timaya on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Hero’s Square Owerri, Imo State.
He said; “It will be a Democracy Day of uninterrupted music, dance and comedy windstorm, spiced with Kegite Jarasis from Songito, the Jara Prince and AB Cowboy respectively.
DJs Timberland, Olez, Paky, Flex and Harmonix will be on the on the wheels of steel at the event which will be kicking off by 12:00 noon.
Hon Irouno then urged all Imolites to come and support their sons and daughters at the event which has no gate fee as it will be featuring the best of the in Imo State music industry especially in the hip-hop genre.
