The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha of yesterday approved the immediate dissolution of his cabinet.
Also affected are the Transition Committee Chairmen of the twenty seven local government areas of the state.
In a statement signed by the Principal Secretary to Governor, Mr. Paschal Obi, the affected Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants and the Transition Committee Chairmen were directed to hand over to the most senior Civil Servants in their respective Ministries Departments and Agencies.
Governor Okorocha said he appreciated the contributions of the affected appointees and wished them well in their future endeavours.
The action however did not affect the Chief of staff to the Governor and Secretary to the State government.
