Unknown gunmen who were suspected to be fleeing armed robbers have killed two men in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.
According to sources who witnessed the sporadic shooting, the first victim was hit by stray bullet as the gang who were riding a Toyota Ciena with tinted glass drove along Teltlow Road axis, while the second man who was identified as a keke operator was hit along Wetheral Road by MCC, Owerri, Imo State.

According to eye witness account, the event saw the all busy Wetheral Road deserted as people flee for their lives while those shot dies at the stop.
So far no comment has been made by the state police command.
