To give made in Nigeria goods a better platform to thrive especially in the international market, the World Trade Summit & Expo has been changed to Nigeria International Week, Asia Edition.

Speaking on the recent update, the President of FOW World, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George said that while there will be more focus on marketing Made in Nigeria products and ideas, every other thing remains the same including the date and venues of the event.

He further stated that paying more attention to Made in Nigeria products became important with regards to the recent economic situation in the country and there is need for the country to start exporting goods and services to other nations of the world.

“The change is more of an upgrade to give precedence to Made in Nigeria products as well as our cultures and tourism industry.

For those who have registered, everything remains the same and it is same with the dates and venues”, Hon. Buchi George who is a United Nations Ambassador said.

With more than a thousand participants already signing up for the event, it will be kicking off in Seoul, South Korea from 1st – 3rd October, 2017, while the next stop will be in Guangzhou, China from 5th – 8th October, 2017 and then Tokyo, Japan from 11th – 13th October, 2017.
