Entertainers and people from different works of life stood still for the reigning Ada Imo, Queen Judith Nzubechukwu Orisaekeziem as she unveiled her pet project in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.

The event which also marked her birthday on September 17, 2017, took place at Vila Garden Hotels, Owerri Imo State and saw the model cum beauty queen reveal the content of her pet project, which is about refashioning the mindset and moving young ladies of the streets through well thought out education and empowerment programmes. The Pet Project Unveiling Dinner cum Birthday Celebration was packaged by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to Imo State Governor on Entertainment, handled by Hon. Chukwunonye Irouno.

With part of her speech reading “I have enough street wisdom to know that no matter how economically or socially necessitated, the street cannot be an ideal place of permanent abode for the young females who are the future mothers of our society”, Queen Judith Nzubechukwu Orisaekeziem is keen on seeing to the empowerment of young girls from the street with skills that will keep them gainfully employed.

“The Female Agenda is a project that will help the girl-child and other young ladies on the streets identify their purpose in life, work towards it and also understand that without sleeping around, they can be very important in the society.

“It does not end with inspiring the girls, we will also teach them skills and provide startup capital for them courtesy of His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s youth empowerment programme” she said in a recent media chat.

The September event was chaired by Engr. Emma Ojinere, Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, while Hon. Engr. Uche Agabiga of Orsu State Constituency, the home of the celebrant and Hon. Bar. Ngozi Njoku, immediate past Commissioner for Health, Women Affairs and Social Development led the cream of House of Assemble and Executive Council Members to in attendance. Entertainers from all genres, business men, friends and family members of the celebrant also come out en masse to support her.

Queen Judith earlier, had travelled to South Africa alongside the Opara Imo after which she announced the unveiling of her pet project, ‘The Female Agenda’, which is three dimensional with ‘The Pride of the Female Gender’, taking young girls off the streets and empowering them.

‘The Divas Therapy’ which is a constellation of the various talents of young female Imolites, will create a platform for these females to showcase their talents and also be empowered them to ply their trade in a higher level.

The final angle to the pet project is ‘De Quinz Makerz’ which will train future beauty queens, preparing them for the future with the right mindset, skills and knowledge to excel in the modelling industry.

According to the light-skinned beauty queen, the pet project will be merged with the release of a book she has written to inspire young girls in schools and on the streets.

“I want to be the best that has ever been” she said, adding, “Even when someone else will be better than me, I want to be remembered for the foundation I have laid and how honourable and reputable I have made the Ada Imo crown”

Speaking further, she said that the first leg of the project ‘the pride of the female gender’, is targeted for implementation on Thursday 16th November, 2017.
