It has been a season of honour and awards for Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere as another group under the aegis of Imo State Students’ Press Alumni has added to his long list of worthy awards from reputable organisations.
The awards may not be unconnected with his sterling leadership qualities as have been certified by many credible personalities and group, which is in consonance with the reason advanced by the President of the group, Mr. Mgbeahuru Kingsley.
The President of the group, Mr. Mgbeahuru Kingsley said their choice to honour Prince Madumere is not unconnected with selfless service orientation, putting people first in public. Service.
His words: “the youths are search of role models. The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere cut a picture of a role model the we seek. We have watched and we are yet to see him associated with abuse of office in the course of discharging his duties. On this note, we as youths and members of Imo State Students Press Alumni having not found him wanting, we therefore find him worthy to be publicly acknowledged.”
In his response, Prince Madumere thanked the group for the recognition. He encouraged them to continue to be good ambassadors by their good conduct and patriotism.
He urge them to continue to support Rescue Mission administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha which assuring them he will not let them down.
