The Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has approved the appointment of Political Aides.
A release by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Paschal Obi says they are: Mrs. Ego Ibe, SA Senior Citizens and Pension Affairs, Bright Uzoma, EA Special Citizens, Adaora Ijezie, SSA to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Jidechukwu Iwuanyanwu, Special Assistant NEPAD, Dr. Henry Okafor, SSA New Cities Development, Ekwe Scott Chinonye, EA ICT and Dr. Beatrice Ngozi Amadi, EA Imo Library Board.
The rest are: Mrs. Chioma Tycoon-Onwumere, SA General Duties, Government House, Mrs. Eucharia Ogu, Principal Officer, Umuneke Rehabilitation Centre, Vitalis Anyaegbu, SSA Projects, Owerri Zone, Clifford Ojiako, SSA Project, Orlu Zone, Dr. Emmanuel Ajuogu, SSA Project, Okigwe Zone and Rev. Dr. Simeon Nwulu, SA NGO Matters.
Meanwhile, the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has approved the reconstitution and appointment of the Chairmen and member nominees of some commissions.
A release to this effect says for Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), Mr. Ethel Ibebuchi is the Chairman, for State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mrs. Juliet Okafor-is the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Mike Ndubaku is the Chairman, Ngozi Aririguzo-member representing Owerri Zone, Mrs. Nkeiru Oluehi-member representing Okigwe Zone, Ichie Norbert Okoro-member representing Orlu Zone.
Others are for ISOPADEC, Engr. Bernard Iroegbu-Chairman, Comrade Andrew Nwoke Otubo-managing Director, Obidike Chike N.-member Representing Orlu Zone, Chief Tony Black Nduka-member representing Okigwe Zone, Iloroafor Chidinma-member representing Owerri Zone, Barr.
