News making round the social media has it that thugs loyal to Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) Government House Owerri, Hon. Kinsley Uju slapped, beat up and threw Mr. Chinagorom Christopher out from his Egbema home on New Year day.
Mr. Chinagorom Christopher who is the Coordinator of the Rescue Mission Social Media Group and member of Mbaitoli Transition Committee has been a staunch defender of Governor Rochas Okorocha’s Rescue Mission Agenda had gone to cover the event organized by the APC chieftain with his group, before meeting the embarrassment of his life in 2018.
According to an eye witness account, the Mr. Chinagorom had earlier been embarrassed by the guards in the House of Hon. Uju, when they refused him and his group entrance, but when everything was settle, Mr. Chinagorom refused to go back to the sitting room, causing his group to take the same decision in solidarity.
Mr. Uju finding the situation embarrassing, allegedly threatened to beat up the young man before ordering his guards to do the dirty job of beating Mr. Chinagorom up and then throwing him out of the compound.
The incident has so far received many negative reactions on the social media, with many seeing it as very unfair.
Others have taken their time to narrate their own side of story with of them saying Hon. Uju did what he did because had more money and power than Mr. Chinagorom.
Efforts to reach Mr. Uju proved abortive and we still hope to reach him, to get his own side of the story.
