A member of House of representatives, Obinna Onwubuariri, has undertaken the completion of a electricity project started and INITIATED by a renowned economist cum humanitarian,Chief (Amb) Dr. Ikenna Aniche(Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu Gburu Gburu 1-12) and the founder of Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu Foundation for the NEEDY.
The project which Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu started in his village Ndiekwuru, Imenze Aro Amuro Okigwe in the Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo state in 2015 is to be completed by the Federal legislator by an Installation of a transformer, hanging of High tension and lower table Cables and addition of more electric POLES in ensuring that electricity gets to Ndiuche and Ogelle Communities.
Hon Obinna Onwubuariri, will complete the wirings, energize a new transformer and link it to national grid.
Meanwhile Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu has commended Onwubuariri for undertaking the completion of the project and promising to ensure that his people start enjoying electricity supply on or before the Fixed burial of Musical maestro and traditional Icon Late Ichie Mezuo Pericomo in April 8th and 9th 2018.
The humanitarian who said that genuine assistance to people who are in need is what politics should be, said remembering his people gladdens his heart and stressed that the Vision of his NKE NKE ENYI IZUOGU FOUNDATION FOR THE NEEDY is in tandem with what Hon Obinna Onwubuariri is about to do. He maintained that this Feat if accomplished will be a great blessing to Hon Obinna as this area has not seen light since world creation.
Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu, who tasked other politicians to engage in providing dividends of democracy to people and communities said the level of love shown to his people determines who he will collapse his formidable structures to in 2019. He said that he has proved everyone who thought he has a political ambition and aspiration wrong and maintained that all he has done and all that he is still doing is to give back to the society. “You must not be a politician to be a humanitarian. Its in the blood”.the philanthropist said.
The philanthropist who controls the most formidable structures in Okigwe zone said “I am not looking for anybody to do me favours that will benefit just me alone. Do things that will benefit the masses and the people.
Those who need our support must carry out programs and projects in our communities. Our people need to feel belonged and recognised.
