The Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Imo State, Hon. Ray Emeana has said that instead of concentrating on All Progressives Congress APC alone, the party should also direct their arsenal at All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, as they are they problem of Imo State.
Hon. Emeana who was speaking on Monday at the Imo PDP New Media State Wide Workshop at the Party Secretariat in Owerri, Imo State, said APGA put Imolites through the suffering they are seeing today by giving them Gov. Okorocha in 2011. He added that anyone planning to trust the APGA again in 2019 will be planning another mistake as the only thing APGA is good at is running away after election.
He stated that most of the politicians jostling for APGA Guber ticket are serial losers who have in the past betrayed PDP in the state, urging Imolites never to take them seriously.
The former Imo Assembly member took further swipe on APGA by saying that against their ‘Onye Aghala Nwanneya’ slogan, the party has only been Anambra Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, as only Anambra people take decisions in the party right from the beginning.
He cited the recent fight against Imo State born Chief Martin Agbaso who was elected as their National Chairman, adding that the party does not have Imolites at heart.
On the recent issues in Imo APC, he said that no one should have expected anything better from people like Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Sen. Benjamin Uwajumogu, Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume, Sir Jude Ejiogu, Prince Eze Madumere and their cohorts as they are nothing but serial betrayers who are doing nothing but what they know best.
He said that one thing common with all of them is that they had at one time betrayed the PDP and by working against Gov. Okorocha, want Imolites to see them as saints when in actual sense they were the foot soldiers who helped Gov. Okorocha perpetrate all his evil in the state.
Hon. Emeana boldly stated that people like Sir Jude Ejiogu, Prince Eze Madumere were nothing before they started working for Okorocha and after helping the their new enemy to impoverish Imo State, they want everyone to see them as the incoming redeemers.
He said PDP is the most peaceful and progressive party in the state at moment and the only party positioned to take back power in the state for the good of Imo people.
He then urged the New Media team to create contents that will make great impacts, adding that they should be cautious in what they do so as to represent the party very well.
