Some beauty pageants have declared their support for the governorship bid of Hon Tony Nwulu, member representing Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He hails from Ezinihitte Mbaise in Imo State.
Receiving the delegation in Abuja, he urged the beauty queens to be good ambassadors of Imo State and the country. He said the tourism sector will receive huge attention in the State if elected Governor to make it lucrative for the benefit of the State, assuring that he has drawn up a roadmap to bring back to life to the sector that has huge potentials to contribute to the growth and betterment of Imo State.
Nwulu added that this will open doors for the State and attract foreign investors which has been lacking in Imo for a very long time.
In their separate speeches, the beauty queens commended him for giving youths a voice in the National Assembly. They also announced their membership of Mezie Imo movement, the political structure oiling the guber ambition of the 39 year old lawmaker and Imo guber hopeful.
