Hon. Tony Nwulu’s declaration over the weekend to run for Imo Guber in 2019 under Peoples Democratic Party, has been described as a lifeline for the party owing to track record of the member of House of Representatives, Hon. Tony Nwulu.

Nwulu whose No Too Young To Run bill was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari last week donated two buses to the women and youth wings of the party.

In addition to the bus gifts, he donated a sum of N 1 million naria each to both groups in the party at its stakeholders/fund raising meeting held at the party’s headquaters in Owerri.

The lawmaker also gave the sum of N500,000 to the New Media department of the party to aid it in propagating the gospel of the party.

Represented at the event by an aide, Mr, Chukwu Kingsley he said the donations were to improve mobility and enhance the effort of the party towards achieving their goals.

Earlier in his remarks, the State Chairman of the party, Barrister Charles Ezekwem assured aspirants in the party of a level playing field during the primaries and enjoined them to shun hate speeches.
