A frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the convener of the defunct 2 million man march for late Gen Sani Abache, Chief Daniel Kanu has been described as a man of high profile and integrity, worthy of emulation by youths of Orluzurumee socio cultural union and has been receiving encomium from youths and women of Orlu Zone.

Commenting on the qualities of the aspirant who was a special guest at the formal inauguration of the new executives of Orluzurumee youths and women, the President General of Orluzurumee socio cultural union, Chief Emeka Diwe encouraged youths of Orlu to emulate the lifestyle of Daniel Kanu, to attain greater heights. Mazi Daniel Kanu was a special guest at the formal inauguration and swearing in of the new executive of youth and women’s wing of Orluzurumee the apex socio-cultural union of Orlu zone which took place at All Saints Anglican Church hall, Amaifeke, Orlu.

The inauguration of the new women wing executives was performed by the President General of Orluzurumee, Chief Emeka Diwe while that of the youth wing subsequently followed under the watchful eyes of all the national officers and members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the cultural union.

Those inaugurated in the women’s wing include, Lady Pat Elele-President, Esther Carmy Michael (Vice President), Rosemond Nzeribe (Secretary), Regina Anusiem (Assistant Secretary), Juliana Ajaero (Financial Secretary), Stella Uzoho (Treasurer) and Sabina Odigbona (Organizing Secretary). Others are Rose Nwachukwu (PRO), Chinyere Asougha (Assistant PRO), Pat Osuji (Provost), Ngozi Obierchi (Assistant Provost), Innocentia Egbegbu (Legal Adviser), Stella Agouze Priscilla Adijele and Rose Olugbo.

The new youth wing executives inaugurated at the same occasion include Comr. Michael Uzorma (President Stephen (Vice), Kingsley Uzor (Secretary), Udochukwu Okpodike (Assistant Secretary), Nnaemeke Udemba (Treasurer) and Tochukwu Ehirim (Publicity Secretary).

Others include Paul Ibegiagwu (Organizing Secretary), Barr. C. Anozie (Legal Adviser), Barr. Onuchukwu Nnabugo (Legal Adviser), Emma Anyachie and Festus Azuogu.

In their post inaugurated speeches, the Youth President and Women President pledged to fully support Daniel Kanu for identifying with the union.

Responding, Mazi Kanu said he appreciates the recognition of his person and show of support and pledged to partner with the group and their projects with a promise not to disappoint the youths and women of Orlu and Imo state in general, if elected as the next governor of Imo state.
