The Founder of ‘Ignite with Cindy’ Talk Show, Miss Cindy Nnodim has revealed in a chat with CHINEDU HARDY NWADIKE of www.otowngist.com that her early mistakes made her who she is today.

The Agricultural Economics graduate of Imo State University told us that she didn’t grow up as she would have desired, further added that she still has no regret about it because she drew her strength from everything she couldn’t achieve in school days to become who she is today.

Inside Cindy Nnodim
I’m an inspirational speaker, motivator as well. I am a presenter, talk show host and event anchor. I inspire people to become a better version of themselves especially the young ones.

How did it start?
Everything started after graduation in 2017. It got to a point in my life where I discovered that I have passed through a whole lot, especially when it has to do with my talents and potentials. I didn’t discover them earlier and when I thought I did, I realized that they were not fully developed.

I looked at my life and saw that there are people who like me, have not even discovered their talents; some have discovered, but they’ve not developed them; some have developed but have not deployed them.

So I decided that as I move along trying to make up and maximize my potentials, I should also push some people who are like me. I push them to realize that this is something they should work on; to discover their potentials, to develop and maximize them.

My achievements
For some time now I have been very active on social media because I believe it is where I’ll get my audience. I’ve been able to reach out to a whole lot of youths and I normally have this regular talk show ‘Ignite with Cindy’.

Recently I had an outdoor event and lots of people attended. My recorded talk shows have thousands of views on social media and they are really very impactful.

For now, I’ve touched lots of lives and there is plan to do more as I keep upgrading the concepts I already have while also looking forward to unveiling fresh programmes.

I’ve attended so many life changing conferences. I’ve done so many outreaches and I also visit secondary school and talk to them.

My Challenges
Finances can actually weigh you down because sometimes, you know what do; you know how far you want to take this; you just know what you want to do, but when it comes to finances, you just can’t move much because there are necessary things you need to put down before taking off.

Sometimes you want to do an outreach and there’s nothing to give them. I often feel disappointed when I go to secondary schools to talk to them and I won’t have any material to share to them. I know that after talking to them, I should share some materials; give them some materials that could help them, but because there isn’t much resources to achieve this, I don’t do them like I wish.

Even my videos and talk shows are supposed to be regular like I planned but I often meet those challenges of fund and producers often delaying and disappointing me.

Being a girl in Africa
People give me more attention not because I am a girl, but because of my personality.

There are times I go out to meet people and sponsors, they’ll be like ‘you’re a young girl. You’re too young for this’.

Some times when I talk to them, they ask me my age, saying I speak above my age. The truth is that when you set your heart to do something, you work like a man, bold and strong.
