IMO State Government has said that from now henceforth, any indigene of the state in the state-owned universities that involved in cultism and those that are not doing well in their academic performance will have their scholarship withdrawn.

Governor Rochas Okorocha announced this while briefing newsmen at the government house, Owerri on the activities of his administration.

According to him, the future generation are no longer preparing for their future in education, rather they engaged in activities like secret cult, raping, smoking India hemp, stealing etc.

The governor disclosed that the state government would liaise with the traditional rulers in the state to checkmate the penetrations of none indigenes of the state who now enjoyed the free scholarship programme introduced by his administration.
