TRIBUTE TO A BELOVED DEPARTED FATHER
(Who shall be laid to rest on 24th August 2018)

The blow was hard and the shock was severe. We never dreamed your death was so near. But only those who love can tell the pain of parting without farewell. No one can ever imagine what it means losing you.

To hear your voice, to see your smile, to sit and talk with you awhile, to be together in the same old way, would be our dearest wish today, but loving memories never die.

Difficult to accept, yet very true. Very difficult to understand, yet very real, the fact that you are gone. Memories are what I hold very firm to me. They come to mind time and again, reminding me of your good deeds, your care and concern towards us.

Needless enumerating them on papers as they are too many, lessons we learnt from you, advice we got from you, we promise to keep. May the good Lord who gave you so open a good heart reward you abundantly with eternal rest.

Though you may never have been heard of anywhere, gave us neither eminence nor wealth, but you gave us blood untainted with a vice, and opulence of undiluted health.

You were honest, and unpurchable and kind;
You were clean in heart, and body, and in mind. The ways of the Lord you set before us and praying we become greatly great.

Oh death, you’ve done your worse but can’t silent the voice of a good man.

Rest in peace My Father, for I know that someday, you shall smile from heaven in gladness of what we become even after your departure.

Adieu Daddy
