‘The Queens Diara’ slated for Saturday, September 15, 2018 will now hold on Saturday, September 22, 2018 according to a release by Hon.Irouno Chukwunonye, The Special Assistant On Entertainment To The Governor of Imo State.

The change in date according to a release is to accommodate extra events which include a road walk and other courtesy visits which have been lined up as part of the event.

“In order to accommodate some significant items of content, particularly ‘a Road walk for the campaign against social ills which the young females are associated with and the Fashion Flavour respectively, the Queens Diary, a Summit of all Imo Beauty Queens, the Queen Judith Nzubechukwu Orisaekeziem (Adaimo)’s Pet Project, scheduled for Saturday, 15th September, 2018, has been shifted to the upper Saturday, 22nd September, 2018, same time and venue”, the release reads.

The event which is part of Queen Judith Nzubechukwu Orisaekeziem’s pet project is aimed at raising the status of young ladies in the society.

Both reigning, past and intending beauty queens in Imo State are expected at the event which according Queen Judith will redefine, reshape and reinforce the public image and advance the societal values of the present and successive generations of Imo Damsels.

With the venue and time still remaining Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Freedom Hall, Freedom Square (Old Warehouse Junction), Owerri, Imo State and 1:00pm respectively, the event which is packaged in in collaboration with the Reach Media (Radio/Television) is powered by the Office Of The Special Assistant On Entertainment To The Governor Of Imo State.

Imo State First Lady, Ugonneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha will be the Mother Of The Day at the event, with Makbere Marian (Author of ‘Crown Factor’ and Miss Tourism Nigeria Queen 2012); Prof Edna Njoku, a versatile resource person and Senior Lecturer, Federal University of Technology, Owerri; Mrs Uloma Nwosu (MD, The Reach Media) and Pastor Ada Ezeka of the Family Life will be among the guest speakers.
