Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has appointed a new Secretary to the Government.

Chief Mark Uchendu has emerged as the new SSG, replacing Sir George Eche who resigned some days ago.

The governor also appointed Messrs Kenneth Chid Ejiogu as Chief of Staff Government House, Chukwuemeka Valentine Duru, Principal Secretary to the Governor, and Mr. Victor Nwanaforo Onyechere, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations.

Okorocha also appointed Mrs. Ijeoma Igboanusi as Deputy Chief of Staff, Domestic operations.

Mr. Bonaventure Akwiwu, Mr. Sunny Chiadi. Mrs. Esther Egburuche. Mr. Patrick Nze, Lady Chinyere Uwandu, Mr. Kelechi Azike, Mrs. Edna Okorie, Engr. Chika Ezeji were also appointed as commissioner-designates.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Sam Onwuemeodo,

Okorocha noted that the new appointees will be sworn-in on Monday, while the names of the commissioners will be forwarded to the State House of Assembly.
