Some members of Ekiti State House of Assembly have impeached the Speaker, Kola Oluwawole while is deputy, Sina Animasaun was sacked.
The duo are members of the People’s Democratic Party in the state.
This is coming days before the change of government in the state, as the outgoing governor, Ayo Fayose a PDP member will make way for the All Progressive Congress governor-elect Kayode Fayemi, on Tuesday.

The lawmakers elected the former deputy leader, Adeniran Alagbada while the Minority Leader, Gboyega Aribisogan, was elected as new House Leader of Business.
Alagbada defected from PDP to APC in June alongside his political mentor, Prince Dayo Adeyeye.
