Prof. Sobbas Nwabueze Asoegwu of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) will on Wednesday October 24, 2018 hold the 33rd Inaugural Lecture of the institution.
The lecture which has the topic ‘Leveraging Food Security Challenges in Nigeria: Through Agricultural Production, Processing and Storage for Mitigating Economic Recession will be taking place at the Hall of Excellence at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Imo State and will be kicking off by 12:00 PM.
Prof. Sobbas Nwabueze Asoegwu who has been in FUTO since 1987, Two time Head of Department of Agricultural Engineering said the event will be an intellectual showcase which will be attended by University community, friends, relations, past and present students, undergraduates and postgraduates.
The erudite Professor is also the Acting Director of FUTO Farms LTD; Director, Center for Industrial Studies, Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and an Associate Dean School of Engineering & Engineering Technology.
