A team of Islamic and Christian clerics at the weekend began peace campaigns to some troubled communities in southern Kaduna to canvass harmonious relationship.

He further disclosed that both the Qur’an and Bible preach peace and unity, noting that Islam and Christianity teach their followers how to live in peace with their neighbours to have an everlasting unity.

“Remember that we all are from one family of Adam and Eve, we are believers in one God, as we all believe in Holy Bible and Qur’an. We are brothers and sisters, and must therefore learn how to live in peace and unity among ourselves.

“Our holy scriptures have guided us on how to accommodate each one, and be our neighbour’s best friend. We must be united to shun the evil that is generating crises from one place and another,” he said.
