A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in IMO state, Chief Longers Anyanwu has accused governor Rocha’s Okorocha of squandering the goodwill given to him by IMO people in 2011 through the imposition of avoidable hardship on the people.

Anyanwu, a Board of Trustee member of APC who stated this during a exclusive interview with Daily Nigerian Horn in Owerri on Sunday, pointed out that governor Okorocha became the governor of the Imo state based on the collective goodwill of Imo people who wanted a different and better leadership.

He argued that revolution is imminent in IMO come 2019 as IMO people are determined to decide who will lead, adding that IMO does not want wicked people again as their leaders.
The Ebebudike Obowo further noted that in 2019, IMO people will go beyond zoning and other clanish tendencies to ensure the right person is elected to repair IMO state for better.

“The issue of zoning is gone forever, even though it will not favour my zone, IMO North but all the stakeholders have agreed to use the best person even if the person is from Anambra State to make sure IMO state is recovered from the present pitiable state. There is need to restore the peoples confidence on government, if not there is danger.”

Anyanwu who insisted that APC has no alternative, however said that PDP dwell more on propaganda, adding that President Muhammadu Buhari is not talking but doing the work for the collective interest of Nigerians.
“PDP is no threat to APC in IMO state and at the national level. If the votes will count, Nigerians will reelect President Buhari come 2019.”
