The candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Ideato South State Constituency Hon.Barr (Mrs.) Nnenna Martha Aladum (Notary Public) has congratulated, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy Hon. Gerald Irona over their victory and successful collection of Certificate of Return as the Imo State Governor and Deputy elect.
The legal practitioner who formerly contested for 2019 PDP Ideato South State Constituency ticket but was denied, made the expression Thursday while celebrating the Governor elect, declaring that his victory is the victory for all progressive Imolites.
“I’m happy that our dear Governor elect, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy Hon. Gerald Irona have received Certificate of Return on Wednesday to run the affairs of our dear State, congratulations to our Governor Elect and his amiable deputy.
“Restoring and Rebuilding Imo State to the glory of God is what matters most. I’m happy that our Governor elect is a man of honour and integrity and he is poised to restore the dignity of our State. I believe that Imo state has the potential to be the best in all ramifications but because of mismanagement in most sectors of the State economy, our State was brought into this pitiable condition that we all found ourselves today which is the reason we must all come together in unity to work with our Governor elect, his Deputy and all the State legislative officers in order to move our dear State forward.
“I pledge my total loyalty to this administration, praying the most high God to grant our own governor elect divine direction on the way to begin the rebuilding of our State. Much resources were plugged into road construction by the outgoing administration but looking at the status of the allegedly newly constructed roads, you will empathize with our dear Imo State and that is why mediocrity cannot be allowed in the all inclusive governance.
“His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has promised the good people of Imo State that Familiocracy will die a natural death and meritocracy will be the yardstick with which responsibilities will be distributed to persons across the State along the line of competency and inherent ability to deliver. I am sure his Excellency will turn the tide around in the scheme of things in the State, having been tasted and proved. We’ll glorify the Lord for the gift of His Excellency Ihedioha Mma “she expressed.
