When we say independent, we mean they pay themselves salaries, government would not have any interaction, interference, whatsoever in the appointment of the INEC. An INEC that was appointed by the Presidency cannot perform differently from what we experienced at the presidential election”.
In the presidential election, that involved the house of rep, Senate and what we have witnessed in the governorship and House of Assembly elections, I consider it the highest level of monumental fraud, sham, that mustn’t repeat itself”, he thundered, as he called for the re-definition of the project, Nigeria.
He decried the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, the re-elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, while describing him as an extremist who scarcely could put up with the religion of other ethnic groups of the country, lamenting, “evidents have shown that when you have a president that has no passion for leadership and at the same time does not tolerate other people’s religion and tribal lineage, there’s bound to be problems. Nigeria is a country with multicultural dimensions and social inclinations, you don’t need an extremist to be a president.
