In partnership with Globe Chamber Of Commerce and Industry as well as Transnational Trade and Commerce Centre, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has revealed that the Trade Nigeria is taking businesses in the country to the world.
Speaking in Abuja Nigeria, the Hon. Buchi George who is the founder of FOW World, the organizers of the Trade Nigeria, said the main aim of the project is to create a conducive atmosphere for economic activities to thrive beyond the shores of the country.
He said that the Project is designed to promote, protect and develop platforms and programmes that will help local business thrives beyond Nigeria as well as contribute ideas that will not only enhance the overall economic stability of Nigeria, but also encourage both national and international interests in local businesses in the country.
Earlier through a message on the official website of the project, the United Nations Ambassador said; “Trade Nigeria is a global showcase for all industry stakeholders and its reputation alone attracts a vast international audience. It provides the most diverse range of exhibitors from core sectors of the trade industry: Business, Investment, Economic Exchange, Manufacturing Technology, Trade, and Commerce”
“With over 1500 exhibitors from all over the world, it’s a very effective and efficient way to meet with potential customers and suppliers”
Speaking further, Hon Buchi George judge said the Project has already recorded tremendous achievements, citing Investors/Delegation meet and greet; Nigeria Joint Trade Mission Power and Renewable Energy Exhibition; Nigeria Joint Trade Mission’s Commerce and Business Round table Meeting; Mining Business Investment in Nigeria by Investment companies and Public Private Partnership (PPPA) Initiative, Building Economy for Mutual Benefit to all the countries involved.
Other achievements listed are Nigeria Investment opportunities as investment destination; Nigeria Business Forum; Display of non-functioning industries in Nigeria for Investors takeover; Exhibition of goods and services from Nigeria amongst others.
In partnership with the Ministry trade Commerce and Industry and the Presidency, Trade Nigeria is so far putting up joint trade missions to Australia, Turkey, Japan, Korea as well as Joint Nigeria Trade Mission, with Hon Buchi George adding that there is still more to come as they will stop at nothing until Nigeria becomes a global business hive.
