The crisis rocking the Action Alliance, AA in Imo State may not be over as former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Acho Ihim, has denied ever begging the party’s governorship candidate, Uche Nwosu.
Nwosu and Ihim fell apart recently when the latter resigned as Deputy Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance.
Nwosu was the party’s governorship candidate in the 2019 governorship election.
The former Speaker decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, calling for an end to litigation instituted by Nwosu against Governor Ihedioha.
Matters became worse when Imo State Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Owerri accepted the withdrawal of AA’s petition challenging the outcome of the governorship election results at the Tribunal.
Ihim has gone further to stand by his action by insisting that he has no regrets for pulling out as Nwosu’s Deputy.
