Imo state Governor Emeka Ihedioha has appointed Paschal Egwim as the Director General/Chief Executive of the Buearu of Public Procurement and Price Intelligence (BPPPI).

The Secretary to the State Government Uche Onyeagucha who disclosed this in a release issued on Friday  stated that the appointment is in accordance with section 9, Sub sections (1) and (2c) of Imo state Public Procurement law No. 12 of 2010.

According to the release, Egwim is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a B.Sc in Management.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Management (FCIPS) and a member of CIPS Board of Fellows in Nigeria and member, Procurement Professionals Association of Nigeria (PPAN).

Egwim is a seasoned and vastly experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional with over 25 years experience in the private sector (Oil & Gas) and Government Sector. He is deeply experienced in Due Process and Good Governance principles.
