Bloggers in Imo State under Imo State Bloggers Association (ISBA) have held an election for new executives.
The election which was held on Friday June 7, 2019 at Old English Bar and Grills Owerri, Imo State, saw the former president, Comr. Chinedu Hardy Nwadike reelected for the second term in office.
In his acceptance speech, Comr. Nwadike thanked ISBA members for the faith they have in him which prompted his reelection, vowing to always work for the good of the association.
“To maintain what he we stand for, we must ensure our members operate with the highest level of professionalism and we will also ensure that we do our best to make the world see the best of Imo State on the internet”
“We had previously held seminars to combat fake news, train our members and the general public on best practices on the internet, we’ll do more till we get there. Together we will build a better and bigger association”, he said.

The president then hailed the Electoral Committee for a job well done, adding that the association is open to partnering with relevant agencies and individuals to sanitize the online media in Imo State as well as ensuring proper sensitization on the relevance of the online media.
The tenure of the new executives will run till 2022.
