The Orluzurumee Youth Assembly (OYA) on May 23, 2019, approved the dissolution of all the existing factions and constituted an interim executive committee to be led by Engr. Christian Okolie.

According to the release signed by Comrade Kyrian Echerebo as Publicity Secretary of OYA,this action was sequel to the outcome of a committee of enquiry set up by the Board of Trustees (BoT) to ascertain the serial allegations leveled against the formally constituted executive, led by Comrade Darlington Uzoahia albeit, leading to fictionalization of the union.

However, the BoT has approved six months for the new executive committee starting from May 24, 2019 to organize, harmonize and collaborate with some of the stakeholders of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, who were totally and curiously neglected.

Some of the decisions made by the BoT include approval of the expansion of its membership to eleven (11) instead of seven (7) as presently constituted, making the president an automatic member of the BoT, an order that every property under the possession of any of the factions be returned within (2) two weeks to the interim executive, among others.

The meeting was attended by seven BOT members, mamely;Comrade Chikezie Oguejiofor,Secretary;Comrade Uzokwere Galore,Member;Comrade Kyrian Echerebo(Publicity Secretary;Comrade Swenny Onyenze,Member.

Others are;Comrade Chibuike Idiele Ugory,Member;Comrade Petercliton Ihjiagwa,Member.

The meeting was presided over by the chairman of BOT, Comrade Precious Nwadike who is a former National President of the Assembly.
