A women group in Imo State known as Women Integrity Forum (WIF) have advised Uloma Nwosu, first daughter of the immediate past governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha to be mindful of her actions which are causing women in the state embarrassment.

The women accused the Okorocha’s daughter of putting efforts to cover up the alleged loots perpetrated by her family members in the state and also inciting security personnel against the people of the state.

The group gave the warning in a statement signed by their Secretary, Ogechi Iwuamadi and availed to Newsmen in Owerri, yesterday.

They requested her husband, Uche Nwosu who is the governorship candidate of Action Alliance, AA in the state to call her to order; threatening to unleash declare persona no grata if she does not desist from her alleged unlawful actions henceforth.

The statement partly reads, “We, Women Integrity Forum, (WIF), a socio-political pressure group in Imo State wish to express our disgust with the recent activities involving Mrs. Uloma Nwosu, daughter of the immediate past governor of our state, Rochas Okorocha in the state.

“It has come to our knowledge how she has continually tried to drag the good image of Imo women to the mud as exhibited by her several attempts to cover up the massive loots of the state assets traceable to her family members in the state.

“We are concerned that her continued expression of boldness in the midst of glaring illegalities perpetrated by people close to her by blood and marriage, is unbecoming and a slap on womanhood.

“Few days ago, the account of how she engaged some armed security personnel and directed them to shoot on innocent Imolites in effort to prevent the Committee on Recovery of Looted Assets from doing their job is an act taken too far, depicting that she has no regard to human life.

“While we call on her to desist henceforth from embarrassing Imo women by fomenting troubles here and there with her lies and unremorseful disposition, we advise her husband, Uche Nwosu and Okorocha to call her to order.

“We also call on her to toe the path of virtue and allow justice to prevail in the state, or we will explore our strength to teach her the good reasons of life.”

The Committee had last Friday raided a warehouse belonging to Okorocha’s wife, situated along Aba Road, Owerri where some alleged looted government properties were stocked.
