The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Imo State chapter has called for entries for its anthology of poems with the theme: Death and Resurrection” due for publication soon.
Chairman of the association, Chief Celestine Ibezute said the association decided on the publication of the anthology of poems after an exhaustive critical analysis of the rot in the society particularly in Imo State.
Ibezute, spoke on Tuesday when he led a delegation to corporate office of Newsleaders Communications Limited, publishers of National Newsbreak Newspaper in Owerri.
He explained that the anthology would accommodate poems that reflect on the above theme in an indepth manner both in specific and general terms.
According to him, it would also accommodate poems that seek to set agenda for rebirth and reawakening in government, especially in Imo State.
He disclosed that all poems are to be submitted on or before 21st October, this year via email address: buisi08@gmail.com.
Responding, the Publisher/Editor-in-chief of National Newsbreak Newspaper, Mr. Gele Agbai expressed delight at the visit.
He pledged to assist the association in publicizing its activities and urged it not to relent in making its presence felt in the state.
