The Imo State government has announced the conduct of a mop up biometric verification exercise for pensioners in the state.

In a statement signed by Special Adviser (Media) to the governor, Steve Osuji, government said the mop up session of the biometric verification exercise is geared towards ensuring no pensioner is left out.

It disclosed that the exercise would hold on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Government Secondary School, Okigwe Road, Owerri between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

It stated that the exercise is the final window for all pensioners who for one reason or the other missed the earlier verification exercise or could not complete the process.
