In preparation for the Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum, members of the Local Organizing committee and officials of Trade Nigeria will be meeting with representatives of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), to fashion out best ways to make the event a success.

The meeting according to the President of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, will set the ball rolling for the event scheduled for December 5th to 12th, 2019 in South Korea.

Buchi George also revealed that the meeting which will have Mrs Lee Borum leading the KOTRA delegation will see both parties reach initial agreements, which includes easy visas for the Nigerian delegation.

“We are looking forward to having a great meeting to continue from where we stopped previously with representatives of the Office of The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Abuja and this is to show we are one hundred percent with the Federal Government of Nigeria”, Buchi George said.

In a meeting holding earlier in Singapore with the Local Organizing Committee and Government Officials from Republic of South Korea, the Permanent Secretary, Political and Economic Affairs, The Presidency, Office of The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Abuja, Mr. Gabriel Adadua, urged everyone involved to ensure the event will be a success, describing the event as one that will create endless opportunities for Nigeria and Asian nations while also creating a platform for economic unity between them.

Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum is part of Nigeria – Asia Business Forum, which focuses on business, investments, trade, economic exchange and cooperation. It creates a platform of support, growth and balance for bilateral trade relationship between Nigeria and member nation of the Asian continent.
