The Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Imo State, Chief John Iwuala, has expressed the readiness of the party to contest the upcoming fresh election in Okigwe North Federal Constituency.

Iwuala stated this at a meeting with the members of APGA on Tuesday.

Iwuala described the party’s candidate in the upcoming election as unbeatable.

He therefore called on the members of APGA to work together to ensure success at the poll.

He recalled that the court on 5th November 2019 ruled in favour of his group as the authentic executive of the party as against that of Hon Henry Okafor.

He also said that the National Working Committee of APGA has promised to abide by court order.

Hon Iwuala noted that during the last general elections, candidates were imposed on the party which caused the party not to perform creditably.

He assured that with Hon Engr. Uchenna Onyeiwu Uba flying the APGA flag, the party will sweep the Okigwe North poll.

He debunked the rumour that APGA was working with the All Progressives Congress, and Action Alliance candidates.
