In the wake of pop-culture, people of Owerri, Imo State will on Friday, December 27, 2019 be reminded of what entertainment used to be for them at the Owerri Cultural Music and Comedy Fiesta.
The event which is put up by African Nextpro is aimed at reigniting the fun cultural music culture of Owerri people and also take them back to memory lane on what music and comedy used to be before the advent of pop-culture.
According to Chris Talker, the Brand/Event Manger of African Nextpro, Owerri Cultural Music and Comedy Fiesta is an intergenerational music journey, where one would have to enjoy performances from lagends of the old and new generations of cultural music in Igbo land.
“We have put up the best you can ever think of in cultural music and comedy if you put Imo State under the rather”, Chris Talker said, while naming music lagend Bright Chimezie, Shama Melody, Sarowiwa, One One B and ND Arabanko as some of the performing artistes for the event.
Other comedians and musicians billed to perform at the list of the event include Papa Pee, MC TBoy, Shark2Six, Uche & Ajisiogu Warrior (Oriental Brothers), Lafin Gas, Egbe Igwe Apama and 2 Can Talk. Event hosts are Ozisa FM’S Nonso Nkwa and Hot FM’s Ice Candy, leaving the wheels of steel in the hands of DJ G-Icon.
