In addition to having Nigerian top business moguls like Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and Tony Elumelu as speakers at the Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum, the event will also witness performance from Nigeria music sensation Tiwa Savage.

Confirming the development for the event scheduled for Republic of South Korea, the Chief Executive Officer of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George said the performance will be another spice to the event which is designed to boost trade relationship between Nigeria and Korea.

Buchi Goerge confirmed Tiwa Savage will be performing at the Commerce meet Culture Exchange and business dinner during the event which will now hold in 2020, courtesy one of their partners, adding that aside providing entertainment, her performance will also show the people of South Korea how Nigeria has grown to become the giant of Africa in so many sectors.

“Tiwa’s performance is not the only high point of the event, because we already have Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and Tony Elumelu as speakers. Trade Nigeria is still working closely with Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment; Office of The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Abuja, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and other partners to ensure the event turns out to be a memorable one”

“We’re so far grateful to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo and other partners of this event for the work they are putting in to ensure we achieve the set goals and also end the year on a very high note, while looking forward to a very busy 2020”, he said.

He also revealed that instead of the proposed December 20 to 25 2019 date for the event, it will now hold a month later from January 20 to 25 2020, citing weather condition and busy schedule of some of the top facilitator and participants.

“We are really sorry for the change in date again; the weather won’t be too good for the event in Korea and we’re also looking at when most of the facilitators and participants will be available. We are now working hard to ensure we achieve every set goal for the event in a better way come January 2020”

Nigeria – Korea Economic Forum is part of the Nigeria – Asia Business and Economic Forum with more coming up in other countries in 2020. Proposed dates are: China – February 17 to 28, 2020; Japan – April 23 to 30, 2020; Vietnam – June 25 – 30, 2020 and Taiwan – July 26 to 29, 2020.
