Another chapter of what has become an interesting political drama in Imo State is about to unfold again, as majority of members of Imo State House of Assembly are set to cross over to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has the highest number of members in the House.
The APC which suddenly became the ruling party in the State following the emergence of Senator Hope Uzodinma as Governor, had only one member.
But fate seems to have caught up with the PDP House members as they now switch over their allegiance to the new party in power.
There are also strong indications that a new Speaker of the House of Assembly will emerge.
Chiji Collins, the incumbent Speaker, and other principal officers, may also give way in what appears a major political tsunami that has spread to the State legislature after the Supreme Court had sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP and declared Hope Uzodinma of the APC as duly elected Governor.
This newspaper observed that though some members of the House of PDP extraction,are still in shock over the twist in their political fates, sources said they had no option than to jump ship to save their political career.
