The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Sunday night confirmed 14 new cases of coronavirus.

The latest discoveries bring the number of people with the COVID-19 infection to 111.

The centre said on its Twitter handle that nine of the cases were from Lagos and five in Abuja.

It said: “14 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria – 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT As at 09:30 pm 29th March. There are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria with 1 death”.
