Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC have reported 573 new cases of Covid-19 with Rivers State recording 103 of that.
Lagos is at the top with 216 cases with Oyo, Edo and Kano behind Rivers States recording 68, 40 and 21 new cases respectively.
Nigeria has so far recorded 16,658 confirmed cases with 5,349 discharge amd 424 deaths.
Imo State on the other hand have recorded 132 cases with lockdown partly relaxed in the state.
The compulsory use of face mask in the state has not been taken seriously, with Nigerians no longer scared of the imoct deadly virus.
With the cases rising on daily basis, It is expected that the lockdown will be further relaxed with domestic flights expected to commence by the end of the month.
