Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has made a double appointment in the entertainment sector, with Chinonye Agogbuo and Bobby Uchechukwu Micheals.

Towing same path as ousted Hon. Emeka Ihedioha who made three appointments in that sector, Gov. Uzodinma appointed Chinonye Agogbuo as Senior Special Assistant SSA on Entertainment, while Bobby Uchechukwu Micheals  takes up the title of Special Adviser SA.

Earlier there have been several entertainers in the state jostling for the position, while others even made their interest in being appointed in the office public.

While little is known about the new aides in the entertainment industry of Imo State, Bobby Michaels will pass as a known face, having been in the music, modelling and film industry.

The duo are among more than 60 of the many aides appointed by Gov. Hope Uzodinma who have received their portfolio.

The governor has been highly criticized by the opposition and neutrals for appointing aides without portfolios, with some aides appointed as early as the first week of March 2020.

On the issue of the double appointment on the entertainment sector, Imolites will be hoping that a repeat of the clash of power and protocols will not happen again as was seen in the time of Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and they have called on the aides to work closely to make the entertainment industry of the state better.
