Operatives of the 34 Field Artillery Brigade, Obinze have killed Notrious Kidnpper, Cultist Chijioke Onyeze aka Bracket in a gun fight at Ohaji.
According to Imo State Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Ikeokwu Orlando, the soldiers brought Bracket at the point of death to the Divisional Police Headquarters Ohaji, with an AK47 riffle recoveted from him.
The Police report has it that *It is noteworthy that the said BRACKET was behind all the killings in Ihie, Obiti and other communities around Ohaji/ Egbema lately, notable among his victims were:: Obioma Iheka , killed on 6/42020; Maduakolam Nwoguzo ,killed on th 14/4/2020; Alozie Amadi killed on the 4/6/2020″
The PPRO also reported that while efrorts are ungoing to arrest other members of his gang, his death has caused wild celebration in the community.
