Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George who has been harping on strategic partnership between nations and continents as one major way out of damage done by the Covid-19 pandemic, said the alliance to achieve Australia Africa Economic Forum has already kicked off with South African based Transnational Trade and Commerce Center.

Hon. Buchi George who is the president of Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry, said the partnership with the South African trade and investment promotion organization will ensure that the dividends of the programs reaches many corners of Africa.

He further stated the Australia Africa Economic Forum is a strategically planned event targeted at drawing master-plans, investments and other strategies from Australia to Africa and vice versa.

“What we were looking at is to figure out countries who have gotten it right in areas we are still working on. We look at what they have as well as what we can offer them and that is how it all begins”

With Australia Africa Economic Forum billed for March 25 to 30, 2021, Hon. Buchi George said one key thing about is always having a plan in the midst of the new normal. He further stated that the damage done on the global economy by the covid-19 pandemic is obvious for every nation to see, adding that what they have is a recovery plan for Africa and partner nations.

“Normally these are plans that will grow us, but we will be using them to heal from the pandemic. It has been a very tough time for nations around the world, but if we all can come together to share strategically, Africa and the entire world will be bouncing back within a short time” Hon. Buchi George said.
