The aftermath of the novel African Action Congress AAC, primary election that took place on Saturday the 5th day of September at St. Joseph Primary School Ekwerocha Amakohia in Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of Imo  state was the emergence of the charismatic, Dr Nath Uba as the candidate whose entrance into the hotly contested race has rattled his contemporaries.


The primary election that started at exactly 12noon  on that Saturday had in attendance party delegates, aspirants, members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agents,election observers and supportive Civil Society Groups.


The party had two aspirants Dr. Nath C. Uba and Mr.Chidi Ibeawuchi.After the e entire accreditation and voting exercises  Dr Nath. C. Uba who had secured an  overwhelming majority votes, emerged the ultimate winner  an announcement of which was heralded  ovation by all including his only challenger of the primaries.

 Dr Math Uba was thus returned candidate for the October 31st 2020 bye election.His single competitorMr Chidi Ibeawuchi congratulated the winner Dr.Nath.C.Uba and pledged his support for the party.


On his own part,  Uba thanked members of the party ,officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and other observers  who participated in the processe leading to his emeegence as he promised not to dissapoint them.
