The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere rejoices with Muslims at the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, remembering the birth of Prophet Mohammed.

The former Deputy Governor’s call was expressed in a statement by his Media Adviser, Uche Onwuchekwa.

Congratulating Muslims of the grand occasion, he admonished them to learn the Prophet Mohammed’s preaching for tolerance, unity and brotherhood.

He bemoaned the present animosity being experienced in the country, calling for a united action that will enthrone unity, peace and progress.

He added that Nigeria’s great potential can never be achieved if the country remains in the state of rancor, vendetta and suspicion.

He therefore called for a new Nigerian where everyone holds another as brothers and sisters with belief in one Nigeria.

He also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and the Muslim Communities, including Muslim youths to take in the lead towards realizing a Nigeria of collective dream.

Calling for prayers for the families of the victims of EndSARS protests, he condemned the incessant looting and wanton destruction of lives and property.
