A High Court reaffirmed that Njemanze remains the rightful owner of the land Empire Energy is situated

Radical surgeon, Dr.Phillip Njemanze, is now set to take over Empire Energy Plant, located along Owerri- Naze road.

Justice K.K. Orjiakor, in his ruling asserted that the rightful owner of the land the Empire Energy Plant is situated, is Dr.Phillip Njemanze.

Hon.Robertson Ekwebelem, a former member of the Imo State House of Assembly, and Royal Rondek Nigeria Limited, had approached the court, to set aside an earlier judgement on the matter, which was in favour of Dr.Njemanze.

Justice Orjiakor dismissed the application for lack of merit, on the basis that the petitioner failed to give sufficient reasons to grant him such relief.

Dr.Njemanze after the ruling, gave God the glory for his recent victory in the Court.

Dr.Njemanze, who is leading a campaign against the controversial VAPP Bill before the House Of Assembly, had intended to use the site to construct New Chidicon Medical Centre, but according to him, former Governor Rochas Okorocha, allocated the land to one Comrade Bennett Okorie, who was used as a proxy or front to take over the land from him.

Speaking to newsmen after the verdict, Dr. Njemanze expressed gratitude to God for the ruling and to the judiciary, for dispensing justice on the matter.
